Meet the Team
Trevor Hewett has a wealth of experience built up across a diverse portfolio of architectural commissions over more than thirty years as an architect. As principal designer in the practice, he works closely with each client, blending innovative design with sound practical knowledge to create the right design for each building project.
Trevor Hewett, Principal

Toby lives in Ludlow and joined the practice in 2021. He has over 15 years’ experience as a qualified architect working in design-led practices around the country. With this experience Toby has gained an extensive knowledge of the building process and enjoys taking schemes from concept through to the completion of the building. He is comfortable working at different scales and on both traditional and modern building types which have ranged in value from £50k up to £21million.

Joe graduated in 2025 from Cardiff university with a BSc in architecture. He is currently doing his part 1 placement at The Architecture Studio alongside studying for his MArch at Cardiff.
Born and raised in Wales, in a small village just outside of Cardiff, his architectural studies have taken him as far as Fiji, and now, not quite as far, to Ludlow!

Joseph Gush
Architectural Assistant BSc
Juliette joined the team in July 2021 as a project architect, and has primarily been involved in our domestic renovations and extensions, with a focus on listed buildings and heritage refurbishment works. Her background in high rise residential and retail projects as well as high end residential refurbishment projects in central London give her a good eye for detail and experience of delivering projects on a variety of scales and budgets.

Juliette is currently celebrating the safe arrival of her second daughter, and is taking maternity leave.

Sheila joined the practice in 2011 and became a partner in 2012. With qualifications in business management and human resources, she ensures the smooth running of the office, providing administrative support to the architectural team.
When not working for the practice Sheila is an accomplished musician and is involved with the local theatre. She also comes with her rescue dog, tripaw Amber, who joins the team in the office.

Oliver has lived in Ludlow all his life, apart from the time studying architecture in Bristol. His interest in architecture began with a desire to make a positive impact on the place he calls home. He has gained experience across a wide range of sectors — from private conservation projects and contemporary new builds to educational buildings, office refurbishments, and new commercial developments. He enjoys most helping clients turn their initial ideas into spaces they are truly happy to live or work in. When not at work, Oliver enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the local woods with his cocker spaniel, and relaxing at home with his wife and two young children.

Katie joined the team in 2025 after graduating from Sheffield University. She is particularly interested in sustainable and innovative design, and hopes to develop her skills during her gap year with the practice.

Architectural Assistant BA(Hons)
Louise joined the team as Administrator in 2017, and works weekday mornings. She studied Business Administration at Ludlow College and has worked in various administration roles as Customer Service Supervisor, Deputy Procurement Supervisor, and for an international publication company.
